  1. Before I start meal planning, I first figure out my macros through an app. You can use apps like MyFitnessPal, Senza, and Keto Diet App to check your macros. Knowing your macros will give you an idea of how much carbs you can only consume in a day or week.
  2. I use Trello. It’s a really helpful online tool that keeps my meal plan organized. I then search for...

Why You Should Do Clean Keto

In this video, I talked about the Clean Keto diet and how it helped me to lose weight, gain more energy, and overall, become healthier.

You can watch the whole video here:

Here are some of the major points from the video that I think you’d find helpful:

  • If you’d like to get into the clean keto diet, grab this list of foods that are clean keto-friendly:
  • I used to be in a rut when I first started Keto. I would eat anything that is considered keto without thinking if it’s actually healthy for me or not. For example: While yogurt is considered keto-friendly, most yogurt products (even greek yogurt) that can be bought in a store have added sugar that can throw you off from ketosis. This makes checking the label for every food item you buy very important.
  • Remember: You are what you eat. Everything that you intake will get into your system and will be responsible for how you’d look like.
  • If...

Watch the video below to find out:

5 Keto Mistakes to avoid

Lot's of people doing the ketogenic diet are making mistakes wich lead to failure and to not keeping up with this diet.  Avoid these mistakes and you will have no problems. I have done some of those mistakes in the beginning as well and am happy to give you those informations now so that you don't have to go through those mistakes as well. And there is a way to avoid the keto flu.
Here are the mistakes which you should avoid:
You don't get enough electrolytes. Electrolytes are key to not getting the keto flu. When you start a ketogenic diet you loose lot's of water and fat. That's why it is so important to replenish with electrolytes and water. The other mistakes are that you don't get enough fats, hidden carbs,  too much protein and that you give up too fast. Easy keto Mousse au Chocolate

The best thing on Keto? You can eat all the fats and don’t need to fear it. You can eat it and will still lose weight. That’s the perfect form of nutrition for me. Of course I am not eating heavy cream loaded sweets treats all the time, but I know that I can have it every now and then. I am eating normally various vegetables, some berries, moderate to high proteins and lots of healthy fats. Sweet treats I only eat sometimes. But if I am in the mood for a good dessert I like this one very much.

It comes with really dark chocolate, heavy cream, eggs and xylitol. It is fluffy and full of chocolate.

½ cup xylitol

2 chocolate bars

½ cup of butter

3 egg whites

3 egg yolks

2 cups of heavy cream

Melt the chocolate with the butter together

Mix the egg whites into a mousse

Mix the heavy cream to cream

Mix the egg yolk with some hot water until fluffy

Mix the chocolate-butter mixture into the egg yolk...

Super delicious Keto Energy Balls

When you are on the ketogenic diet you are normally not hungry between the meals. I have my bulletproof coffee in the morning then lunch and dinner. That’s it- no snacks in between. But sometimes I am on the go the whole day and can’t have lunch. That’s when I opt for a energy ball instead of a bagel or a donut. I don’t say that it’s better to quit lunch for an energy ball or two, but for me it saves me from not grabbing something carb heavy from the next bakery.

You can do the energy balls in lots of different versions- just be creative. Mine is with gingerbread spice and cinnamon. I discovered my love for the gingerbread spice during last Christmas days and now I put it in lots of my desserts and baked goods. Tap the link in my bio for the recipe.

2 cups hazelnut meal (almond meal is fine too)
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup coconut oil
1 tsp gingerbread spice
1 tsp cinnamon
½ cup xylitol

How to:
Mix all ingredients in the...
