The one thing that you should really stay away from when you’re on Keto is sugar. But for people with a sweet tooth like me, that can be a total nightmare!
My kids love sweets and I don’t want to deprive them of treats that I used to enjoy but I also don’t want to fill them with unhealthy carbs. This was one of the dilemmas that I had when I was just starting Keto.
Good thing, I’ve found a terrific workaround and that is to “keto-fy” my favorite desserts!
New york-style cheesecake is my favorite dessert and something that I couldn’t say no to. However, it can be full of fattening sugar. So I scoured the internet for a low-carb cheesecake recipe and tweaked it a bit to ensure that it won’t kick me out of Ketosis.
This is one of my most favorite recipes to date and even people who aren't on a keto diet LOVE this unbelievably creamy cheesecake recipe.
Read on to find out what ingredients I used and...
These healthy pumpkin cream cheese bars are made with almond meal, healthy coconut oil, and pumpkin puree! You’ll love the combo of pumpkin and cream cheese.
It's no pumpkin season so far, but I just love to bake and cook with pumpkin. It just gives a great texture and some moisture for baking. If you only try one time to bake with pumpkin, then please please bake these bars. They are so good!! I just couldn't keep my hands off of them and my family too. They are keto, gluten-free, baked with almond meal and covered by a decadent cream cheese layer with some cinnamon on top. Healthy and delicious - a total win in my book!!!
Why use almond meal? They are a great substitute for flour, gluten-free, great for low carb- keto baking and almonds deliver a massive amount of nutrients and fiber. They are rich in Vitamin E, Manganese, Magnesium,...

I really like peanuts and chocolate. Why not mix them together and make those super delicious little treats, like this keto chocolate peanut butter cups? If you are looking for a really easy to make keto treat, then this one is for you.
It is just the layers which needs to cool before you can do the next step which takes a bit time. But i mean the fridge does it for you and you can relax meanwhile.
Let's dive in:
2 cups of dark chocolate- really dark 80-90 percent cocoa
1/2 cup xylitol
1/2 cup peanut butter without sugar
1 tbsp coconut oil
Melt the chocolate with the coconut oil and the sugar ad one layer of the chocolate mixture to a small muffin form and transfer to the fridge to cool down ad on tsp of peanut butter on the chocolate layer cover it with the last layer of chocolate and let it cool down in the fridge. When finished you can store it in the fridge and enjoy it.
Super easy to make peanut butter bars with a crunchy cookie base, tahini peanut butter filling topped with dark chocolate. Those bars are paleo, gluten free and keto!
I often use Tahini in my kitchen, because it is very healthy and makes everything creamy with a soft nutty flavor. It is basically ground sesame seeds which are very rich in calcium- so it’s good for your bones too. One point more to use it more often in your baking and cooking. I always like to have one or two keto treats in the house and those bars are my absolute fave.
They are even great to serve for an afternoon tea to your non keto friends.
