3 Reasons Why the Ketogenic Diet Works for Health and Weight Loss

Turning yourself into a fat burning machine is not the only effect the keto diet has on your body. I have 3 reasons for you here why the ketogenic diet works for health and weight loss.

When you are in ketosis your body produces ketones which are the preferred fuel for your brain. Brain fog will disappear and you will concentrate and focus much better. The ketogenic diet also helps with Epilepsy. Many clinical studies showed that the ketogenic diet reduces the severity and the quantity of seizures.


Often it is said that the brain needs glucose to function well but that is a myth. If fat adapted the liver produces ketones which are a great source of energy for our brains. Fudgy Keto Brownies

Espresso and chocolate are a match made in heaven. You can just use instant Espresso which you can just stir it directly in your mixes and batters or make a real espresso and ad the liquid version of it in. It will transform your cake or brownie into something magical!!


Let’s go ahead and dive deep into our chocolatey, chewy and crispy.  Heaven of a brownie.



½ cup almond or hazelnut flour

¼ cup cocoa powder

1/2  cup powdered xylitol

½ tsp baking powder

1 espresso

½ cup +2 tsp butter

2 oz dark chocolate

2 eggs




  • Melt the butter and 1 oz of the dark chocolate in a pot
  • When melted add the powdered xylitol and the espresso
  • Let it cool down for 5 minutes
  • Add the eggs and whisk until well combined
  • Mix the remaining dry ingredients well together and add them to the chocolate mixture
  • Chop 1 oz of the dark chocolate and mix it with a spoon in the batter

Chia Seed Pudding


Chia pudding is a great dish to prepare in advance. You can just stir everything the night before quickly together and put it in the fridge. The next day you can enjoy a healthy, delicious and filling breakfast. You just ad whatever you like on top and you are good to go. I like to top mine with peanut- or almond butter and some fresh berries like blueberries, raspberries or strawberries. And the good thing about it is, that this meal is rich in omega 3’s which are so important for us.
