How To Meal Plan For The Keto Diet

In my newest video, I discussed how I personally plan meals to make it easier for me to stick to the Keto diet. I consider meal planning as the key to my keto success. I believe that if you want to effectively incorporate Keto to your life, meal planning is one thing that you should do!

Most people though that meal planning is such a hassle but it’s the opposite for me. I always look forward to planning my meal. There are many ways you can make meal planning exciting for you too! 

 

Here are some of the things I do to make meal planning fun and easy:

  1. Before I start meal planning, I first figure out my macros through an app. You can use apps like MyFitnessPal, Senza, and Keto Diet App to check your macros. Knowing your macros will give you an idea of how much carbs you can only consume in a day or week. 
  2. I use Trello. It’s a really helpful online tool that keeps my meal plan organized. I then search for recipes online or through keto recipe books and choose the meals that I will cook for the week. It’s free and easy-to-use!
  3. After gathering all of the recipes that I wish to cook for the week, I input them on Trello and organized the meals per day. 
  4. You can also search for new ideas/recipes on Pinterest! Feel free to check out my Pinterest for more ideas.
